Pictures without any laughing, pictures with a bit of laugh and pictures with bright smiles. Subsequently, scientists established which players were meanwhile deceased and at which age. The result was that players without laughing reached an average age of 72 years. Players with concealed laughing died at an average age of 75. Players with bright laughter reached the age of 80 years average. Earlier researches had already revealed the people who laugh a lot, get less often divorced.

The benefits of laughter

The benefits of a good laugh are wide-ranging and can include protection from emotional issues and improving the health of your heart.

  • Mental health benefits. Laughter  buffers you against the negatives of life. As an added bonus, studies show that people who use humor to fight stress feel less lonely and more positive about themselves.
  • Physical benefits. It's often said that a number of laughs every day will keep the doctor away. Studies show that people who laugh a lot also tend to be in good health and generally feel well.
  • Heart health benefits. Research shows that when you laugh, there is an increase in oxygen-rich blood flow in your body, possibly due to the release of endorphins, which create a chemical rush that counters negative feelings and stress. Activities that increase endorphins include a good workout andlistening to music you love, and laughter deserves its place on the list with these other stress busters.
