When inflamed gums are not treated, they can progress to periodontitis. At this stage, the jawbone is affected and teeth can be lost. Thus, it is important to prevent periodontitis or else treat it in time.
Canceling your appointment
To cancel an appointment, we ask that you contact the practice by phone no later than 24 hours in advance. This way we may be able to help another patient and do not have to charge you. If the appointment is not cancelled or not cancelled in time, we are obliged to charge for the reserved time and/or the agreed treatment. The health insurance company will not reimburse these costs.
