" So a routine checkup turned into a five-hour nightmare that cost me an entire workday. They placed an expensive crown that broke off a year later. They refused to even look at it or put it back; I still have it, it was very expensive. Over time more of my molar broke off and I should go back, but for the first time in my life I am afraid of dentists. Unnecessary and super expensive scans, pictures and an expensive night guard (apparently not necessary, according to a 2nd opinion). The other recent 1-star reviews also match my experiences. Prolonged periods of pain, fillings falling out, crowns (plural) breaking, and I have otherwise good teeth: I floss regularly. I am looking for great dentistry.

" Helped by Jurriaan. Very satisfied. Explained well what and why he performed certain actions.

" Super satisfied!!! Honest and sincere and do not create false expectations/results but rather outline a clear/realistic end result. My orthodontics treatment had the desired result. The receptionists are helpful by thinking of solutions. But this was before they took over/teamed up with Dental Clinincs. When you call, you can expect at least 30 minutes of waiting time and this is not because it is busy, there is just no one at the phone! Know it all a little and just not enough to speak to you decently.

" I had an unfortunate experience with wisdom teeth removal at this clinic. Although the oral hygiene treatments were satisfactory, the extraction of my wisdom teeth led to a prolonged period of discomfort and complications. The dentist chose to cut the tooth into pieces instead of removing it completely, which resulted in severe pain and multiple fragments of tooth and bone emerging from my gums over the course of two months. Despite returning for several follow-up appointments due to persistent pain, the proposed treatments were largely ineffective and consisted mainly of increased doses of painkillers. Only after two months of suffering were the remaining tooth fragments finally removed, forcing me to undergo the entire healing process all over again. To make matters worse, I was billed for all the additional appointments and x-rays that were required as a result of these complications, including one appointment I did not attend and one in which no meaningful action was taken. When I expressed my concerns about these charges and the overall customer service situation, my concerns were not adequately addressed and further attempts at communication were ignored. In my opinion, the handling of my case was unprofessional, with insufficient follow-up care and a worrisome focus on billing rather than patient well-being.

" Orthodontic care at Dental Clinics is very disappointing. Clients have been trying to get an appointment for months, but are continually put on hold. Despite repeated phone calls, promises to be called back are not kept. This lack of communication and attention to the customer makes it clear that customers are not a priority here. Furthermore, it appears that there is currently no orthodontist at the practice, without timely notification to clients. This is vital information that needs to be shared to avoid unpleasant surprises for clients. The practice does have time to respond to Google reviews, but falls short when it comes to actually helping clients and scheduling appointments. Solutions are not adequately sought, which is extremely disappointing for anyone looking for reliable orthodontic care. In short, this practice is not recommended for orthodontic treatment. Look for another practice where clients are taken seriously.

" Super poor service. Staff keeps changing and I can count on 1 hand how many times I have actually been helped. Started on braces and then there are no orthodontists available and I am stuck with braces for months without an appointment. Every time you call for info a call back request is made but then you are not helped. I went to the practice and then suddenly an appointment could be scheduled. This again almost a month later. There is no response to complaints and customers are not taken seriously. Appointments are cancelled last minute and they do not take into account. A Google review can be responded to but keeping appointments is not! Believe me this is not what you want

" Very poor communication. I emailed a question about the invoice sent to me to pay for my child's oral hygiene. I had never received an invoice for payment before. Because of this, they told me 2 times that they had forwarded my question to "colleague Marc", but I never received a reply.

" !! Avoid it if you can! Absolutely horrible practice. From the most serious - dental malpractice - to rude staff and huge delays in getting follow-up appointments. This exercise shows you all the things you can do wrong! Time frame: June 2022 to March 2024 (over 6 months! delay) Treatment: fixed braces for adults Cost: ~1500 PS: Yes, I waited almost a month to see if I still felt the same and this is justified. It is. Due to the chronic understaffing of qualified staff, appointments were constantly being rescheduled, treatments were rushed and resulted in misplaced braces, which meant I had to extend my treatment to fix the mistakes. This is my main complaint. Normally you would have to wear one wire for between 4 and 6 weeks, but due to their capacity issues this meant I had to wait up to 3 months between appointments! Even if you try to book the next appointment in advance. Wait times are sometimes very short, but usually expect at least 20 minutes. I cancelled several appointments because there were not enough staff. Taking on too many clients just to cash in on sign-up appointments? I don't know. Communication was always terrible - unfriendly, delayed responses to written communication and failure to honor verbal agreements (I asked to get a single invoice instead of small invoices all the time. I was later told by someone else that apparently that was not possible, but it was agreed upon in the beginning). Their phone system was broken for a while and did not transfer calls that were on hold. During my treatment, I had several staff changes as people left the practice, so I had to constantly repeat myself and explain what had happened. The notes in their internal dental EHR system did not seem to help. I asked for my personal information to move to another dentist and again it took multiple emails back and forth to get it. I also tried to transfer to another dentist to complete the treatment, but understandably, no other dentist wanted to accept the risk of someone else failing treatment. 1 positive thing: I was able to take the 3D impression of my teeth made for my final retention. In essence: I hope this practice goes out of business soon and the staff finds better workplaces that enforce higher standards and better support the staff with the resources they need. I assume this is a systematic problem of freelance dentists working through franchise companies. DON'T GO THERE.
