Children's dental care
Children sometimes find a visit to the dentist very exciting. Children's dental nurse Myriam Nijmeijer-Spit focuses on treating (young) children who find a visit to the dentist exciting. Together with the team, she ensures that children get used to the treatment step by step, so that a lot of fear can be removed. When your child is over his or her fear, the treatment is taken over again by a regular dentist.
In addition, Myriam focuses on children with disabilities and/or behavioral problems, very young children with many cavities and children with specific dental abnormalities or syndromes.
Prevention and oral hygiene
A healthy mouth and beautiful teeth start with preventing problems in the mouth. Therefore, we consider prevention very important. Proper dental care is necessary for the indication, result and durability of all dental treatments. Some important aspects are brushing properly, removing dirt and plaque between the teeth (by flossing, raking or sticking) and regular dental check-ups by our team.
Our dental hygienists focus on prevention and oral care. The dentist may refer you to the dental hygienist for your oral care and/or prevention of tooth decay (caries or cavities) and gum disease.
Brackets
You can also come to us for the placement of braces. Our orthodontic dentist is skilled in performing orthodontic treatment. When our orthodontist assesses that an orthodontist is needed because a more complex dental defect needs to be corrected, we will refer you to an orthodontist in the area. We work closely with orthodontics practice TopOrtho Hengelo.
An incipient cavity? There is a new treatment method in our practice!
When we discover an incipient cavity in you or your child, we discuss the options with you. Thanks to Curodont Repair we can now treat incipient cavities without drilling. This is possible for children and adults. We treat the hole with a special liquid. In more than 90% of cases the growth of the cavity stops and in 40% of cases the enamel even recovers. The treatment is fast, safe and completely painless. Ask your dentist about it.

Emergency assistance
Need help with an emergency? During our business hours, we can be reached for emergencies on our regular phone number: 074 - 243 10 65. We will do our best to help you the same day.
Outside our business hours, you can reach the Dental365 emergency department at 0900 - 1515. They can also be reached at night, on weekends and holidays. The service is for urgent emergencies only, such as accidents, post-bleeding, acute complaints and/or serious injuries. Note: Please bring a valid ID and your health care card.
Canceling your appointment
If you have made an appointment, we count on your coming. If you cannot make the appointment, please inform us by telephone 24 hours in advance so that we can help another patient and do not have to charge you. If the appointment is not cancelled (in time), we are obliged to charge the costs of the reserved time and/or the agreed treatment. These costs will not be reimbursed by the health insurance company.
