Braces at Dental Clinics Krommenie
Braces are placed primarily to straighten teeth so that the teeth can function properly again. This is because properly functioning teeth allow you to bite, chew, talk and laugh better. Oral Hygiene
The mouth contains many bacteria that can cause cavities and gum disease , among other things. This is why we pay a lot of attention to prevention and oral hygiene. Our oral hygiene team consists of oral hygienists, a dental periodontist and (paro-)prevention assistants. The dentist checks the health of the gums and, if necessary, refers you to our oral hygiene team for treatment. Together, we take care of maintaining your gums so that you can enjoy a healthy mouth again.
Root canal treatment
In the roots of the teeth runs the root canal. This canal is filled with pulp that consists of connective tissue, nerve fibers and small blood vessels. This pulp can become inflamed due to tooth decay, a leaking filling or a fall, for example. In that case, the dentist performs root canal treatment. The root canal is cleaned and closed with a filling.
Emergency assistance
- During our practice hours, we can be reached for emergencies on our regular phone number: 075 621 4224. We may be able to help you the same day.
- If you need help outside our business hours, you can call the Emergency Department: 020 - 723 4848. This phone number is for urgent emergencies only, such as post-bleeding and accidents.
Canceling your appointment
To cancel an appointment, we ask that you contact the practice by phone at least 24 hours in advance. This way we may be able to help another patient and not have to charge a fee.
If the appointment is not cancelled (on time), we are obliged to charge the costs of the reserved time and/or the agreed treatment. These costs will not be reimbursed by the health insurance company.
