" Since TP became Amsterdam, Dental Clinics making an appointment really sucks. By phone only appointment to make so you only depend on their accessibility. 2024 surely it is absurd that you cannot quickly schedule an appointment yourself. Waiting times on the phone are also extremely long. Several times had to hang up and call again. It is unfortunately very unregulated and not practical for those who can't/won't stand at least 30min on hold to make an appointment.

" Since being taken over by Dental Clinics it has been made quite difficult to get an appointment here. The website states that it is only possible to make an appointment by phone, but for 4 consecutive days I have been unable to get someone to talk to by phone (called at different times, both in the morning and in the afternoon). Once they answered and only said "one moment please" and then waited for 10 minutes. Then hung up and called again and was told they would be available again as of 1:00 pm. This phone number is used by several practices of Dental Clinics in Amsterdam but still does not seem to be reachable most of the time.

" I wish I had read these reviews before coming here. This is a new practice, so all these terrible reviews are a RED FLAG. I unfortunately had a very horrible experience here. I received a crown for a tooth that caused me absolutely no pain (was this actually necessary? I don't know). From the moment the imaging crown was placed, I felt something was wrong, it was like chewing on a stone. It took the dentist a long time to file it away, but this crown just hurt me. I could no longer chew on that side of my mouth (during the miserable 7 months it was in). I went back repeatedly with complaints of pain and all he did was file away more and more of the crown, saying this was the only possible cause of the pain. I eventually requested a transfer to another dentist, who eventually suggested removing the crown and I have been pain free and able to chew ever since. I received bills for the removal of the crown, which I asked not to pay and was denied. I have also been denied a refund. I am going to seek legal advice against this company. And do not recommend it.

" Incompetent and rude in person. Music is FunX. They will invite you and then cancel you because of their problems. After years I still have NO idea who works here and what dentist is. Pure chaos.

" Due to a move, I was looking for a new dentist. I had registered here and scheduled an intake appointment. Then I received an email that this appointment would cost €100 because they wanted to take pictures. However, I had photos taken at my previous dentist and it is clear in my file that I have good teeth and do not need new photos every year (never had a cavity or braces, all my wisdom teeth have come through well etc.). On the phone the assistant told me that if I had my file forwarded the photos would not be needed. Before the appointment I had emailed to be sure the file had come through properly, explaining why I was asking this (cost of photos) because of course I wasn't sure if the same person I was on the phone with would read this. I then received an email back from the dentist saying, among other things: "According to my colleague, you were explained the cost of the intake and were shocked by this yesterday. She has not confirmed that it is possible to bypass the intake fee. If it was then you would not be emailing again requesting to keep the costs down." Very crazy email I think myself, with comments like "bypassing fees" etc. before the appointment even took place. They also unsubscribed me immediately. I don't think this is a normal way of dealing with people. I feel that this dentist only cares about money and making a profit.

" The dentists and dental hygienists are all hearty, but communication regularly leaves much to be desired. Several times I went for a double appointment (dentist + dental hygienist) where then upon arrival it appeared that one of both appointments had disappeared from the agenda. Still a shame once you have made time to visit. A receptionist could assist with communication, but they are usually not there.

" Modern hygienic dental office where I was helped at short notice by a professional dentist Jessica and her assistant. They use a clear communication during the intake and I received a good explanation of the state of my teeth. The examination that followed was done with high quality equipment. Eventually the operator forgot to schedule my filling appointment of my molar after that, but the dentist was very flexible and blocked extra time to repair the piece of molar that was broken off after eating something hard. I am a satisfied customer!

" I just signed up at TP Amsterdam for a month. Because of the good service and tight scheduling of appointments, I have had both an intake interview and treatment! Also, the dentists and dental hygienists keep well to the schedule of appointments, so in my experience there is no run out of appointments so you don't have to wait long. Because of the many reminders via email, I don't forget my appointment, which I find incredibly nice. At the treatment I had, I was accidentally late. There was no problem at all and in the remaining time I got my treatment. I don't know much about dental treatments, in my opinion the dentist does his job as well as he can. Nevertheless, I feel that the quality of the treatments is very high and I always returned from the treatments feeling satisfied. And that at the dentist! The other day during the treatment I suggested that I would like to have somewhat whiter teeth and immediately advice and options came from the dentist. Whereas with my previous dentists I had to make a lot of effort for this. In short, TP Amsterdam is a practice that is good for your teeth!

" Since two years I have been under treatment at Tandartsen Praktijk Amsterdam and so far I really like it. The team is enthusiastic and friendly and what I especially like is that they really take the time for me. Where at my previous dentist I could get annoyed by the long wait before it was your turn and then be outside again in five minutes without any personal contact - I have had a very different, pleasant experience here. Highly recommended!
